Nicole Falgoust Tanner

Nicole Falgoust Tanner is the owner and director of Legacy Dance Center formerly known as Dance Unlimited of Paradis. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Laurie St. Pierre Falgoust, she began her dance education with Dance Unlimited at two years old. She received her ballet foundation from Giacobbe Academy of Dance in Metairie and continued training in ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap from Dance Unlimited. As a soloist and member of the Dance Unlimited No Limit Competition Team, she received numerous regional and national overall dance titles. Nicole attended dance workshops throughout the country including one at Walt Disney World where she was selected to perform in the Magic Kingdom.
Nicole was a four-year member of the Hahnville Hi-Steppers Dance Team. She was selected as an American All-Star Dancer for several years and was invited to perform at Super Bowl half time performances and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In addition to dance, Nicole represented local fairs and festivals as their pageant queen, traveling throughout the state to promote South Louisiana tourism.  She also participated in the Jerry Lewis Live Telethon to raise awareness and donations for Muscular Dystrophy.
After high school, Nicole attended Louisiana State University to pursue her degree in Dental Hygiene. While in college, she continued her dance training at Tari’s School of Dance where she took classes with LSU Golden Girls. Nicole was a member of Delta Zeta sorority where she composed song and dance productions for the annual Greek Songfest competition. In addition, she served as co-chair of the Miss LSU pageant, raising money for special needs schools in the Baton Rouge community.
After three years at LSU, Nicole transferred to the University of Louisiana-Monroe where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. She returned to Des Allemands and began working full time as a dental hygienist and dance instructor at Dance Unlimited. In 2010, Nicole became certified to teach dance by Dance Masters of America and the Louisiana Association of Dance Masters. For the past 18 years, Nicole has been teaching jazz, lyrical, tap, and technique classes. She has also been a competition team choreographer where her routines have won many overall awards and special honors including: Excellence in Choreography, Excellence in Entertainment, Judge’s Choice, Best Costume, and multiple invitations to attend the New York Dance Experience.
Nicole remains active in the dance team community through choreography and judging auditions. Many of her students have been chosen for their middle school, high school, and college dance or cheer teams. In addition, several of her students have been selected to leadership roles on these teams. Nicole currently resides in St. Charles Parish with her husband Beau and three small children Camille (5), Bowen (4) and Arden (2). She is excited to lead Legacy Dance Center into the future by carrying on the legacy of the past and introducing her love of dance to a new generation of rising stars.

Laurie St. Pierre Falgoust

Laurie St. Pierre Falgoust has come full circle with Legacy Dance Center. She began her dance education with Dance Unlimited at the age of nine. She is now the Co-Director of Legacy Dance Center working alongside her daughter Nicole. Laurie has taught for the past 38 years specializing in Jazz and Tap. She has received numerous Overall High Score and Choreography awards on both the Regional and National Level and her choreography was featured at the Apollo Theatre and The Cotton Club in New York City. Laurie performed in Mexico and at the Olympic Track and Field Trials. She is an active member of LADM & DMA and has served as LADM Representative. Laurie retired from St. Charles Parish Public Schools in 2025. She lives in St. Charles Parish with her husband Louis and four fur babies. She has two grown children Nicole and Briar and three grandchildren Camille, Bowen and Arden. She is excited to share this next dance journey with her daughter.

Monique Cannon

Monique started her dance journey with Dance Unlimited at the age of two and is excited to continue her love of dance with Legacy Dance Center. She is a graduate of Hahnville High School where she was a four year member of the Cheerleading Team. Monique went on to attend Nicholls State University and was a member of the Colonelettes Dance Team and also served as captain. She received her Secondary Education degree and is teaching in St. John the Baptist Parish. Monique has been teaching dance for the past 14 years specializing in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. She is a competition choreographer and member of LADM and DMA. Monique resides in St. Charles Parish with her three beautiful children Mila, Nyla and Julian.

Rebecca Muskevitsch

Becca has 16 years of dance experience and has been on Legacy Dance Center faculty for 5 years. She has performed all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary. She was on the National Champion Desty Darlings dance team for three years and served as Lieutenant and Co-Captain. Becca was a competitive dancer for several years winning many regional overall high score awards. Her choreography is won numerous regional and national overall high scores. She resides in St. Charles Parish with her husband Matt and several fur babies. Becca is excited to share her passion for dance and be able to help each student further their dance education.

Maci Douglas

Maci is a second generation dancer following her in mother's footsteps. She was a regional and national competitive dancer and gymnast and excited to join Legacy Dance Center sharing her love of dance and acro with our students.

MaCoi Hollins

Ma Coi Hollins is a professional performer, teacher, and choreographer with three seasons of experience as a member of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans Dance Team. With credits spanning professional sports, film, music, and live stage productions, she brings real-world industry experience to every class and performance.

A 2022 graduate of Dillard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and served as Assistant Choreographer for the Dillard Diamonds Dance Team, Ma Coi combines creativity, discipline, and leadership in her work. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at the University of San Diego, reflecting her commitment to both artistic and academic excellence.

Her professional performance credits include dancing alongside the Grammy-nominated group Tank and the Bangas, appearing in Hulu’s Iron Mike, performing in music videos for Shirazee and SAINt JHN, and serving as Head Choreographer at Anthony Bean Community Theater. These experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective on the demands of the entertainment industry.

Having trained in ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop since the age of three, and as a former member of the New Orleans Hornets Stingers junior dance team, Ma Coi understands the dedication required to grow from a young dancer into a professional performer.

Passionate about dance education and mentorship, Ma Coi is committed to helping dancers build strong technical foundations, develop confidence, and grow as versatile performers. Her goal is to create an encouraging environment where dancers are challenged to reach their full potential while developing a genuine love for the art of dance.

Victoria Petit

Victoria started her dance education with Dance Unlimited and excited to now be a part of Legacy Dance Center. She was a four year member of the Hahnville Hi-Steppers Dance team and Dance Unlimited No Limit Competition team. While attending Nicholls State University, she was a member of the Colonelettes Dance Team. She graduated NSU with a Bachelor's of Science Degree and works full time as a Registered Nurse. She now loves to share her passion for dance with students of all ages and assists with our Competition Team. Victoria is also a member of LADM and DMA.  She resides in St. Charles Parish with her husband Chase and daughters Ella and Camryn.

Mya Cannon

Mya grew up taking dance with Dance Unlimited and is excited to join Legacy Dance Center as an Assistant Teacher. As a dancer, Mya has competed on the regional and national level winning overall high score awards with the competition company. We are excited to have her part of our dance family.
